Cold foods take more energy to digest and they weaken the natural fires of digestion.
In the winter when it is cold outside our bodies like warming foods that are easier to digest. Root crops are abundant and great when roasted. Warming teas are also good. This week’s challenge is to try a new warming winter food — something you have never tried before. Here is a video we really like if you are out of ideas.
