Prolia: Does It Improve Bone Health?
Prolia is a newer drug that is being developed for osteoporosis. The vast majority of drugs such as Prolia try to halt bone breakdown. The issue is that whenever you halt bone breakdown, you also halt bone build up. These two forces are coupled and by taking these drugs you run the risk of creating stagnant bone. We at the Center for Better Bones will always advocate building bone naturally and suggest people stay away from the drugs that have harmful side effects.
Listen to Dr. Brown provide statistics that will shock you when it comes to Prolia. To find out more about this drug go to our Better bones blog and read “Prolia for Bone Fractures- I’m Still Not Impressed”.
