We all know exercise helps develop strong bones. High impact, weight-bearing exercises
are often most highly recommended. Low impact exercises such as yoga, however, also
build bone and reduce fracture risk. Yoga stretches the tendons, builds muscle,
increases flexibility and balance, and reduces high bone-depleting cortisol levels.
The Center for Better Bones is pleased to offer Christine Dormaier’s excellent
yoga video, “Strong Bones Yoga” in either VHS format or on DVD.
Strong Bones Yoga was created by Christine Dormaier, an experienced yoga teacher,
Certified Yoga Therapist, and holistic health advocate.
Use Strong Bones Yoga to:
- Build bone density and help prevent osteoporosis.
- Increase overall strength without adding bulk.
- Improve balance, coordination, and flexibility.
- Increase energy throughout the body.
