I'm starting a Revolution — and I need your help!

I’ve been writing this blog since 2008, but I believe this may be my most important post — because I’m ready to start The Better Bones Revolution and I want you to join me.

I’m in a revolutionary state of mind because during my decades of work, I’ve seen thousands of women frightened needlessly about their bone health and the options they’ve been given. I’ve worked diligently to help them — and maybe you —understand that none of us needs to be afraid of osteoporosis. We can all take charge of our lives to build and maintain and strong, healthy bones and bodies.

But we need to do more. We need to give every woman the knowledge and tools she needs to enjoy strong bones for life, naturally. Because, I still hear from so many women who are confused about osteoporosis and think prescription drugs may be their only option.

Here’s how you can help:

• Encourage 10 friends to also become informed and empowered by reading the articles on this website and signing up for my weekly blogs.

• Watch the video below to incorporate “The Better Bones Revolution Action Check List” into your daily routine.

Now is the time to take heart and take action — for your bones, your body and your peace of mind. Let’s get started with The Better Bones Revolution!

We created the Better Bones blog as our forum to express opinions and educate the public about natural means of supporting and improving bone health and overall wellness. As part of this forum, we sometimes discuss medical issues and medications, and their effects on bone health in general. However, we cannot advise readers about specific medical issues in this forum. If you wish to obtain advice from Susan E. Brown, PhD, about your specific bone health and nutritional concerns, please visit our Consultations page. Other specific medical questions should be referred to your healthcare provider.

I just completed a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Foundation. My passion is to help educate people on the best ways to stay healthy for a long and illness-free life. I am a psychologist but am expanding my practice to helping people avoid the diseases of affluence, one of which is osteoporosis. I was also diagnosed with osteoporosis after having taken Fosamax equivalents for 7 years and was threatened with a fracture if I did not continue taking bisphosphonates. I am also healing a severely arthritic hip with prolotherapy, no drugs or surgery for me. I will join this Revolution because it is part of my revolution as well. Too many people are being made sick by allopathic medicine, and it is time to get the word out. The Standard American Diet, Big Ag, and Big Pharma are killing us in droves! Thank you Dr. Brown for all that you do!

Dear Dr.Wohl,  Thanks for your kind comments and support.  It is great that you as a psychologist are picking with the torch of living in accord with nature. Colin Campbell's China Study ranks him among the nutrition giants of our time.  I appreciate your work and appreciate your spreading the word of our Better Bones Revolution.  Having friends and clients sign up to my e-blog is a great way to help spread the word.  Best wishes, Susan Brown

Hi Dr. Brown.  I have been reading your articles and following your blog for about two years.  My L1-4 lumbar spine has a T-score of
-2.6.  I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2010.  I have made significant changes in my lifestyle as a result of the information that you are providing. You are performing a huge public service for women.  I just wanted you to know how grateful I am to you, for all you have done.  I will be sending you a donation and I am letting all of my friends - male and female - know about your blog, books and website.  Thank you so much.
